Note Cards
When I was first diagnosed with cancer, I decided that if I was going to spend a considerable amount of time recovering, I might as well find something to do besides stare at the ceiling and count my pills. So, I took up painting my own greeting cards.
What started as a way to pass the time turned into something I genuinely loved. Much to my surprise, other people loved them too! My little recovery-time hobby has become more than just a way to keep myself busy. I have turned some of my favorite designs into note cards, and they are available at various gift shops. A little bit of creativity, a little bit of humor, and a whole lot of "Well, look what happened when I had too much time on my hands.”
